Today we continued building on or gymnastics skills, had a rhythm notation test in music and learned different strategies for converting fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions. We can use known decimals fractions to figure out new ones. For example, if we know that 1/4 is equivalent to 0.25, we know that 1/2 will be two groups of 0.25. If we also know that 1/8 is half of 1/4 then the decimal for 1/8 will be half of 0.25 |
