Today we continued building on or gymnastics skills, had a rhythm notation test in music and learned different strategies for converting fractions to decimals and decimals to fractions. We can use known decimals fractions to figure out new ones. For example, if we know that 1/4 is equivalent to 0.25, we know that 1/2 will be two groups of 0.25. If we also know that 1/8 is half of 1/4 then the decimal for 1/8 will be half of 0.25 |

**We can also use equivalent decimals to help us. If we are trying to figure out what half of 0.25 is we can re write it in thousandths as 0.250 and can then easily see that half of 0.25 would be 0.125**
