Oh...I guess I'm the only one that posted. I guess I'll just answer my own.



1) Electricity powers our homes and electronics.
2) A solenoid is basically a wire that is in the shape of a spring.
3) You need to make an electric circuit or else the lightbulb won't light up.
4) An insulator is the plastic stuff that keeps the electrons inside the wire.
5) Neutrons are found in the nucleus with a neutral charge.
6) Protons are also found in the nucleus with a positive charge.
7 & 10) Two magnets that have the same charge will force them to repel each other.
8) Magnetism is the study of magnets.
9) Two magnets that have different charges will attract each other.

1. Mince - Chop finely.
2. Fiance - Future husband/wife.
3. Secure - Stable, hard to move.
4. Curtains - Pieces of fabric that cover a window.
5. Suburbs - Outskirts of the city.
6. Cripple - Someone who is physically disabled.
7. Crutch - A support device for someone who has trouble walking.
8. Spirit - The soul of someone, emotions and feeling.
9. Salary - The amount of money a worker earns every year.
10. Contented - Satisfied, happy.
11. Humility - Humbleness, opposite of pride.
12. Miserable - Very unhappy.
13. Rubbish - Trash or garbage.
14. Glorious - Grand, spectacular.
15. Gravy - Sauce made from the juice of meat.
16. Wicked - Evil.

7. Did you make a circuit? That could explain why your attempt didn't work.
8. An insulator is any material that blocks the flow of electricity.
9. An example of a conductor is the human body.
10. Magnetism is the force caused by magnets when they either attract or repel each other.
