Today students worked hard to complete their personal collages. Most studnets finished. If you were not able to finish think about what you can do differently next time to get your projects handed in on time. In math, we learned to prove how the divisibility rule for 3 and 9. It was great to see studnets proving the divisibility rules. When you understand how things work you will be more prepared and better able to solve difficult problems when they arise. We also had two tests today, word work and the plant ID test (parents look on Fresh Grade to see the evaluations) Almost all studnets can identify 12 or more local plants. Amazing! Remember that learning about your community and things around you leads to greater love and care for the world. Now that you know your local plants we hope you will help care for them and protect them. I don't want to see any trash near my new friends the mountain ash, salmon berry, thimble berry or cotton wood. Take care of the ponderosa pine, red-osier dogwood and the juniper! Have a great weekend! |
