What does it mean on the homework board where it says 'Reading Sheets (Wed 3 p.m.)'
Is that the book of articles?

A) 25 divided by 5 = 5
B) 250 divided by 50 = 5
C) 2500 divided by 500 = 5
D) 2.5 divided by 0.5 = 5
E) 0.25 divided by 0.05 = 5
F) 0.025 divided by .005 = 5

I noticed that all the quotients are 5. I realized that all the equations are the same but with more 0s or with decimal places. This will help us practice knowing how to place the decimal correctly.

D) 2.5 divided by 0.5 =5
E) 0.25 divided by 0.05 =5
F) 0.025 divided by .005 =5

I noticed that the quotients are the same each time, being 5. Also all the equations just have more zeros along with decimal points. This will make it easier to solve equations or make estimations.

E) 0.25 divided by 0.05 = 5
F) 0.025 divided by 0.005 = 5

I noticed that all the quotients are 5. Also, all of the numbers just have more zeros and decimal places. That will help us understand how would the decimal be written correctly.

First of all, quotient and answer to a division question means the exact same thing. So I just cut half the work time. Also, the answer (quotient) to all the questions is 5. The reason is that all the questions are the same thing, but both ends of the equation either added a 0, or a decimal. This makes all of the questions the same, but it only works in division.

Answering the math questions

A) 25 divided by 5 = 5
B) 250 divided by 50 = 5
C) 2500 divided by 500 = 5
D) 2.5 divided by 0.5 = 5
E) 0.25 divided by 0.05 = 5
F) 0.025 divided by .005 = 5

I notice that the quotient to all the questions are 5.because the questions are all asking the same things but they just have extra 0's.
This would help to get me ready to divide decimals because it will help us with decimal places.

25 divided by 5=5
250 divided by 50=5
2500 divided by 500=5
2.5 divided by 0.5=5
0.25 divided by 0.05=5
0.025 divided by 0.005=5
WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE? WHAT DO YOU NOTICE? WHY?
Basically what is happening is that all of these division problems all answer to 5. That is also what I noticed when I finished calculating them. I think this is happening because all you're adding is a 0 to the divisor and dividend, meaning it will always have the same answer. Except, look at this:
25x5=125
250x50=12500
This is already different. Now let's try subtracting:
25-5=20
250-50=200
It is also different. Addition:
25+5=30
250+50=300
This is also different!
Now I know that adding a zero or a decimal point and getting the same answer as before only works with division!

Ruby

A) 5
B) 5
C) 5
D) 5
E) 5
F) 5

I noticed that all of the answers were 5. It happens because when you add or take away digit placements, it will always be the same. This can help us prepare ourselves for dividing decimals and also help us learn something new.

Is the word work test the one from last week?

Claire
1/14/2020 09:55:03 pm

A) 25 divided by 5 = 5

B) 250 divided by 50 = 5

C) 2500 divided by 500 = 5

D) 2.5 divided by 0.5 = 5

E) 0.25 divided by 0.05 = 5

F) 0.025 divided by .005 = 5

Firstly, the quotients to all of the questions are 5. The reason why these questions all have the same quotient is due to the fact that both the divisor and the dividend either have zero(s) at the end of it or a decimal with zero(s) added before it. This would help me get ready for tomorrow's math lessons because I am now able to understand decimal places.

C. 2500 divided by 500= 5
D. 2.5 divided by 0.5= 5
E. 0.25 divided by 0.05= 5
F.0.025 divided by 0.005= 5
I noticed that all the quotients are same.

A)25 divided by 5=5

B)250 divided by 50=5

C)2500 divided by 500=5

D) 2.5divied by 0.5=5

E)0.025 divided by 0.005=5

I noticed that all the anwer to the question are the same because in all the question, they are all the same but they just have more 0. this is decimal dividing, the change of decimal. So you only need to look at the end but leave the decimal in the same place and you get the anwer

25 divided by 5 is 5
250 divided by 50 is 5
2500 divided by 500 is 5
2.5 divided by 0.5 is 5
0.25 divided by 0.05 is 5
0.025 divided by 0.005 is 5

I noticed that all the answers are 5. The reason why 5 is the answer is because of the 0s. This will help me in getting ready for divide decimals for find the decimal places.
