Today we stared the grade 6 and 7 math program. This year I am trying out the JUMP math program for the first time. Math assignments are always due the next day unless told otherwise. We also completed most of our class C-Charts that set out behaviour expectations for both teachers and students in many different situations and settings. We have a few more to complete but we are well on our way to knowing exactly what is expected  while in school. In the afternoon, we got started on our plant ID project (CLICK) where students are studying and learning to identify up to 20 different plants in our community. Student engagement was at near 100% for over an hr. This was so good to see. The learning was tangible. I was so happy and proud of div 2. today. Amazing!
