I Choose Joy!
To me, "I choose joy" means that even when one has negative feelings on a certain topic, they can "choose joy" and find positive aspects of the situation to make them fell better and happier. Instead of moping around or expressing his negative emotions, one can react to the event with more helpful and optimistic comments. For example, if one is training very hard for a track-and-field event and the event is suddenly canceled because of a storm, it is normal for him to feel disapointed or even angry. However, it would not be effective if those feelings control the person. Instead of complaining how hard he trained for the event, one can choose to change their attitude into a more positive comment, like, "Even when the competition is canceled, my hard work will pay off for the next competition because I will have better skill and more stamina because of my days of intensive training." By choosing to be a more optimistic and positive person, one can overcome challenges easier and live a happier and brighter life.

I think "I choose joy" means that whenever you encounter a difficult situation, you always should wash way those negative thoughts and get over it. Thinking of positives things can brighten your mood and it would make the scenario more easier and smooth. If you continue thinking of negative things, you'll probably not complete the task and potentially have a mental breakdown. While if you be more positive, you have total control over your mind and can focus on whatever it is. Even if you still think of it a bit after it's over, just forget it and move on in life, because it would never happen again. That way you can live a peaceful and happy life.

Great explanation on this quote! Maybe you can incorporate some more specific examples in real life scenarios.

Say you're going to go to a final exam, and you are very nervous and thinking about what would happen if you fail. You come up with many negative thoughts that would distract you from the test and that would pressure you even more because you can't think, even worse when there's time pressure. If you think of positive things, like "I can do this", or "this will be no problem", that way you can focus and possibly get a good grade. Even if you still think of it a bit after it's over, just forget it and move on in life, because it would never happen again. That way you can live a peaceful and happy life.

To me, the phrase “I choose joy” means resisting The Dark Side (yes, it is a Star Wars reference). If you are feeling sad and you say to yourself “I choose joy”, it can help change your attitude because you are actively making a choice to be happy. Repeating the phrase gives you a sense of ownership and helps you feel empowered, and you may actually feel joyful at the end. In other situations, choosing joy can help you make the best of a bad situation. For instance, Cinderella’s step mother and step sisters treated her as a maid. Cinderella could decide to feel sorry for herself but she would still have to finish all the work. However, Cinderella chose joy and did all the housework while singing. As a result, she turned the dreadful work that she was given into something she enjoyed, and her joyful attitude helped her get through the tedious housework. So she was able to get the work done and stayed cheerful.

Good job on explaining the quote! Try to incorporate a situation that you may have been in before, or a connection to what you already wrote (the criteria states how you might react to a situation), and maybe change the last sentence to flow more smoothly. Otherwise, great job!

I Choose Joy means to me viewing the positive aspects of a situation. Many people approach situations differently and Choosing Joy means being optimistic about the situation and viewing the positive aspects more than the negative aspects opposed to being pessimistic. For example If one got fired from their job they can find this as an opportunity to grow and help them realize why they were fired and having hope.

To me, "I choose joy" means that even when you're feeling angry, sad, or unhappy, you choose the option to be joyful and find the brighter side of the situation to make you happier. For example, if you were looking forward to buying some kind of item that you saved up for a long time, but it was out of stock the day you had the money to buy it. Instead of being being angry, you could say that, "If this item isn't in stock, maybe I could wait for it to come back in stock, or I could find something else that I like". This way of thinking is great as I think it leads to an overall more happy way of living.

I think I chose joy means that when you are having a bad day you still chose joy. Some examples are if you get in trubble by you mom or dad you can still feel happy. It can change you atitude. Choseing joy can also mean feeling happy when you don't get everything you want. Lastly it can also give you hope.

In life, the choices we make are ours. How we get to school, for example, or what you eat for breakfast. To me, choosing joy means that you keep a positive attitude, and choose the happiest option possible. For instance, someone just ate the last cookie. This could seem like a small issue, but what if you had a bad day? You were looking forward to that cookie all day, but now you are also mad at that person. What would you do? When approaching this situation, choosing joy would mean that you face the situation optimistically. This could mean listening to music to relax after a horrible day, or doing anything else that you enjoy to relax. It could be a opportunity to take a day off to do better and be more productive tomorrow. By not sulking over the cookie and your day, choosing joy changes your mindset for making good choices in difficult situations instead of having negative thoughts fill your mind.

I think “I choose JOY” mean whatever difficult events or situations you are at, you should always think positive ways to solve it the problem and make it better. If you keep thinking negative ways it will just make the situation worse than before. To do anythings that are hard for you, then you should start think positive of this situation and make comfortable for you. If you think negative more positive then the situation will become worse and turn to badly. That’s why we need to choose JOY in our life for any events and situations.

I choose Joy
To me, “I choose Joy” means to make the best out of the worst situations. To be positive over negativity and try to look on the bright side even if you’re having a bad day. To choose to stay calm rather than being angry because anger is your worst fear. For instance if you’re looking forward to eating the last slice of pizza but, your sibling already ate it, you can stay mad or choose to stay positive. It’s your choice to choose joy because nobody can change your attitude besides yourself.

I choose JOY!
To me, "I choose joy" means to always be joyful and always stay positive even you got stuck or you are in a difficult situation. When you are stuck in a really difficult situation, you should look on the bright side and not to be negative. Always stay happy and positive and everything will work out even you are having a bad day. People can take everything away from you except your attitude, keep a joyful and positive attitude and everything will work out. For example, you got grounded for 3 months because of searching some inappropriate photos online, you started to get negative and going to the dark side. In this moment, say the quote "I choose joy" out loud and it will change your attitude to the bright side. Remember no one can change your attitude except yourself, so it is your choice to choose joy.

If you carry joy in your heart you can heal any moment. -Carlos Santana

To me, "I choose joy" means you pick to be joyful no matter what. You pick yourself to be joyful and filled with joy! Being Joyful can change your life, it can heal you in different ways. Also being joyful is giving joy. This means that if someone gives you a negative attitude, you won't be able to change it but you will be able to change yourself by giving a positive attitude to them. The word Joy has everything in it! You can be happy, funny, and you might also change someones life by always giving a positive attitude to anyone!

There are moments in life, when we have to make choices. It could be minor, silly things or life-changing decisions, such as what career you choose, or something simple like which vegetables do you have or want to eat. Choosing joy means to me that whenever you approach a difficult situation, always look on the bright side to make you happy. You can't let one small detail ruin your day, so keep your head held high and enjoy being a carefree, untroubled kid who is perfectly content in the moment. Nobody gets to change your attitude towards a situation, and you will always have that choice; be happy.

I choose joy.
This quote has many meanings to different people. But to me, it is a mental belief. One that allows one to always choose the happiest outcome. For instance, if someone had destroyed one’s lifetime work, instead of getting mad and hurting that person, they could try to talk to a counsellor or try to remake that piece of work. In this case, the person who destroyed the piece of work, might not have known that he had done something wrong. Talking to him could also mean “choos[ing] joy”.

The statement above means nothing to me because the words don't hold any meaning to me and my life choices as I am my own person.

I think I choose joy means you can decide on how you want to feel. I know maybe that can be hard especially if you are very sad but if you keep on doing it you can do it more easy. For example if everyday your brother always steals your drinks when you don't want him to and you get mad, if you just try to forget about it and think "Hey I can always get another drink!!" And do that a few times you can be more happy by forgetting about it and thinking about ways to help it, and if you keep on doing this with the drinks, soon enough you thinking about ways to solve other situations as well like oh you step into a puddle and get wet, you will maybe be like "Oh it's okay it will dry!!" And if you really are mad you can always say that you don't like them stealing your drink instead of getting REALLY mad. Not only will that make you more happier because your brother stops stealing your brother will be more happy because you didn't get too mad at him and you told him nicely.

To me the statement “i choose joy” means they when you are having a bad day you choose to be happy so other people wont have a bad day. For example, when you fail a math test and you show your parents and there not happy at you and they start to yell you with have a sense if joy in you no matter what happens.

I CHOSE JOY!
This quote means a lot to me. A lot of times I have troubles in hockey, so I choose joy in my mind. I forget the problems, and it makes me feel much better. Once I didn't do very well in a game, and I was very upset, and couldn't sleep that night, so I choose joy in my mind. I forgot everything that happened, and told myself 'tomorrow's a new day, and I'd rather live tomorrow than live today'. So this is why I choose joy.

I think “I choose joy” means that you can choose what ever you want and be happy because no one can choose what they want to you it’s your decision. When someone is having a bad day you could talk to them and it could lead them a joy.

"I choose joy" is a quote that promotes positivity among any situation. The quote doesn't wish joy among one but among every one in the world. For example, when one has passed away, choosing joy would be remembering the fun times you had with that significant, the times where you have joked around had fun. Another example would be if you had failed a test, finding the joy would be encouraging yourself to study harder next time so your grades will raise. "I choose joy" is a very special quote that applies to everyone. Promoting happiness and positivity is the way to go.

"I choose joy."

"I choose joy" is a quote that has essential meanings. It means that in every situation people get in life, they would always have a choice. They could respond positively or negatively. There is always a choice, just waiting for the person to react with the right one.

For example, if someone hit me on the head by accident in Dodgeball, I would have to choose to forgive and forget or get revenge. I could choose both, but usually, one of them is the best to react with. If I made the wrong decision, I would end up mistreating myself or getting into fights.

For example, In the Dodgeball game, if I reacted with a positive attitude, then the other person will probably apologize. But if I reacted negatively and tried to revenge, I might get a short amount of feeling of happiness, but that will soon turn into hate against another person and getting into trouble.

On the other hand, if that person was a bully, and I reacted positively, they might continue bullying me forever, knowing that I will never care about these things.

In most situations in life, being positive is usually the better solution. Being positive can bring you allies, friends, and makeup with enemies. It's all a simple choice being handled to you, and if you make the right choice, things will go a lot smoother.

Being positive can also change your point of view. If I had a million worksheets for homework, I would get angry and anxious. But if I choose joy, I will think of all the benefits like I will learn more, my parents will be proud of me, and I will consider myself a better person.

Making a simple decision can take a lot of effort, but in the end, it's always worth it.
