PAST:
Kindergarten was fun because we got to meet new people and that helped generate life-long friendships.
When we are young we make a lot of new friends because we are more energetic and I guess we are friendlier in a way.

PRESENT:
We have known a lot of our classmates for a long time so that's helped us move along the timeline of school by making memories.
Just generally being together and knowing that there are people around you that have your back and will support you.

FUTURE: Since we have such close bonds with some of our classmates, taking that friendship and moving on throughout your life helps you cope in a way because you have old friends there with you, and you don't enter an entirely new environment clueless and by yourself.

Past:
Through years spent in different grades, we made friends and shared bonds and memories with them. They were welcomed with open arms, and were missed dearly when they left. Someone once said, friends come and go, but family is forever. But, in a way, friends are our family outside of out homes, and they stay forever, though not always physically, but through the many memories and experiences we all share. That's what brought us here to the present, through the friendships we share with our fellow classmates. We got through grades, and this school.
If you need examples, just think through to you and friends' events that you got through together as a team.

Present:
We encountered more new and exciting experiences this year. We've done more than all other previous grades we've been in. We did so many things, ranging from projects, to lab write-ups, to scratch art. We went through harrowing experiences, such as camp, but the glue of friendship held us tight. We summoned our courage to take a great leap into things we've never done before, like ziplining. We grew, laughed, and learned together, and we all supported each other.
A few examples I could offer would be singing songs at the campfire at Camp Latona, or experimented with solutions in Chemistry, or very soon, we'll have the memory of the Grade 7 Graduation. What matters is that we all did it together, as a team, as a class, and as a family.

Future:
Although it's hard to see through the future, we'll all be moving to new places next year. We have an enormous amount of coping to do, but we'll cope with it. We'll move to new schools, where once again, we're the underdogs. But having peers we've gone with for years will change everything. As the years go by, we'll think of each other, and cherish the memories we made here, together. We're Laurier students, and we're undoubtedly proud of that fact. What we did here, however, will forever leave a mark not just at the school, but in our lives, and in our minds. Because wherever we go in the future, we'll have people we can trust. Because we are ONE. We are LAURIER.

@Mr. Fisher:
I would like to speak at the Grade 7 Ceremony on Wednesday. I'll speak to my friends tomorrow and see if they'll do it as well. Thanks!

Nope. I don't think so because we're on a very short timeline.

Present: Everyone here has been through a lot like swimming into the waves as there are tough times like the stress of homework or a big test. We even been through many events that felt easy, fun and calming like swimming with the waves, or, surfing. I am sorry to say that I was only here for half the year, but even then there was so much fun and so many memories to hold.

Future:
In the future nobody knows,
as we walk the path was chose.

I would say we will be fine,
get up cause theres no time to whine.

No matter where we go,
we can remember moments like when we watched Coco.

Even when we grow up,
Maybe we'll bump into each other and say wassup.

Don't start to decline,
Because laurier is what we define!!!
