2.) POST A RESPONSE:

To my opinion, I think "Your digital footprint" is sort of like your online characteristics when you use social media. I think your digital footprint may include:

1. Your reputation on social media.

2. What you share online.

3. Information about you based on what you've shared.

4. What kind of social media you have (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Discord, etc).

In my opinion, a digital footprint is like a physical footprint, except it’s left online. So everything that you do online is added to your very own dossier based on your IP address. You digital footprint may include:
1.e-mail account
2.any online purchase
3. Any comments on an website
4. Any search results (if you don’t have vpn)

My opinion is digital footprint is like a footprint. It's a mark of what you do online. Some examples of a digital footprint are:
1. Your youtube watch history
2. Your twitter posts
3. Your amazon purchases
4. Everything you say in the chat in a game of call of duty

Jasmine

I think that a digital footprint is what you do online and how you use social media.
For example
1. The types of videos or photos you post
2. How you treat others online
3. Who you follow
4. What you do on your social media platforms, what reasons you use it, and how

2. A person’s age
3. A person’s social media and stories
4. A person’s personality

I think that it's like data left behind when users have been online. It's kind of like how people think of you in real life, but online so that anything you say will be there forever (well not forever, but for at least half your lifetime).

1. every website you have been to (so like your browser history)
2. everything you post online
3.everything you buy online
4. your personal info

Waylon

I think a digital footprint is a traceable history file of a person's online activity. Everything that is related to that person is stored in a digital footprint.

A digital footprint may include:

1. Search history

2. Saved accounts, passwords, as well as online purchases

3. Social media posts that are related to person

4. Physical movement tracking through Google Maps or 3D face recognition from security cameras

Alison

I think a digital footprint is like a dossier of everything you do online, but it can’t be erased and is also traceable.

1. What you post on social media
2. Online purchases
3. Search history
4. Personal information

Emily

I think a digital footprint is data that is left behind whenever you do anything online. It will almost always be saved somewhere, and is basically impossible to get rid of, unlike a physical footprint.

I think a person's digital footprint may include:
1. Their social media posts.
2. Any accounts and passwords they use.
3. Messages that they have sent.
4. Any online purchases they have made.

2.browsing history
3.things they have posted on social media
4.their location

I think a digital footprint is what you leave behind every time you post something online, which has a great risk of being there forever and someone resurfacing it. Some examples of digital footprints might be, you're watching a popular creator which you don't like, and you decide to comment something discriminative under their post, maybe the creator will make a response to it, others may tag each other under it, or post about your comment, this leaves hundreds of others being able to see what you said. Maybe, later on, you're running for class president, and someone on the opposing side blasts the video made about your comment on the screens, and now with everyone shocked and disappointed, there's no chance you'll get elected. Another might be, there's this friend of yours you don't like, but claim that you do, while you and a different friend are texting each other, she mentions something about that person, and you send a text saying what you really think about them. Your friend is shocked and thinks that you're not a good friend and snitches on you. Later, word gets out from person to person, and suddenly, all your friends ditch you, and everybody else thinks you're fake. Moving on, I'm sure we're all familiar with the picture of Justin Trudeau from Halloween 2001 which resurfaced and almost ruined his campaign back in 2019, which is also a great example. Including the video of Zoe Laverne a few years ago throwing a tantrum over someone passing her in followers, which came back sometime later when she started gaining more.

I think digital footprint means that it’s what you leave behind in social media or other digital things. Once you leave a digital footprint you cannot erase it and that’s why it’s also known as digital tattoo. Tattoo can be hard to remove so it stays permanent and can reflect on your reputation online.
1. What you post on social media
2. What you say to other people online
3.e-mail account or passwords
4. Browsing your history
5. Deleting something you accidentally posted but other people saw

I think what it means by digital foot print is that like a real foot print, people are able to see it, and follow the path that leads back to you, So basically I think it means that people are able to see the things you do online and be able to trace it back to you.
1. The things you search up online.
2. The things you like and post on social media
3. Your search history
4. Your accounts

Kaitlin

I believe that a digital footprint is everything you have done online, such as:
1. Your browser history
2. Messages you’ve sent
3. Posts on social media
4. Images you’ve saved
