In the Tiananmen Square, a carpet of university students were protesting because they demanded three things to the Chinese government: To apologize for the violence acted upon them, to stop posting fake news on the newspapers, and to have a freedom of speech. To get the government's attention, many university students refused to eat or drink anything until the government promised to speak with them. At first, the government responded by sending soldiers to the Tiananmen Square. However, unlike expected, those soldiers did not do anything except stand by and do nothing. However, on June third, when situations were incredibly chaotic, the government sent armed troops to force the students to leave the square. They were armed in AK-47s with bayonets at the tips of their rifles, and they threw tear gas at the mob of university students. Frankly, I have never taken any extreme measures because I think that there is not much that I need to take extreme measures in.

I dont remeber much, but I do remember that the millatary has gotten involved amd they have permission to kill any protesters if they want, they are armed with ak 47s with a bayonet on the end. They protests are getting bigger and outsiders cannot film certain things anymore, but Alexs dad ignores that and is secretly filmimg, the millatary has used tear gas as well.

Students and other protesters occupied Tiananmen Square because they wanted the government to end corruption and demanded changes to achieve democracy, freedom of the press, and freedom of speech. The student protestors went on hunger strikes, refusing to eat or drink until the government agreed to speak with them. As the protest went on, more people joined the protesters in Tiananmen Square, and tension began to grow. The government responded by putting Beijing under martial law and sent in troops to Beijing. As the protest intensified, the military started arresting the protesters and threatened to shoot anyone who opposed the government.
Personally, I have not yet taken any extreme measures to stand up for what I believe in. However, I would be willing to participate in a protest if anyone's freedom or human rights are threatened.

In the book Forbidden City, protestors are currently in the square. They are in the square to get the government and the officials' attention. They demand to have their perspective shown in the newspapers and for false information and rumors to stop circling around. Thousands of people in the square have taken an extreme measure of going on a hunger strike to pressure the government to act quickly into getting what they want. In retaliation, the government responded by putting Beijing under martial law and sending armed reinforcements to Tiananmen Square to clear out the protestors. I have also never taken any extreme measures to get what I want as I have never had anything to stand up for or to have.

In our read aloud, at Tiananmen Square, many students were protesting to speak with the government. They wanted the corruption to stop and they were going on a hunger strike for them to apologize. The government has been sending military to Tiananmen Square to take care of all the demonstrators, the soldiers were armed and they were threatening the protesters to go back home or they will start attacking. I have never took any extreme measures.

In Tiananmen square, lots of university students and protesters because they want democracy and freedom of speech. The protesters also want the government to stop faking news and end all the corruption. The protesters not only build tent and stay in the Tiananmen square day after day, they also refuse to eat or drink anything until the government agree to speak with them. Throughout days, people in Tiananmen square keeps on growing, lots and lots of people are joining the protest. First, the government responded with only soilders but nothing happen. On June 3rd the government finally send out military with tanks to force the protesters to leave. The military armed out with AK-47 and tear gas to throw towards the protesters.
For me, I have not yet taken any extreme measure because I don't think I need to take any extreme measure on the things that I have right now.

In the read aloud The protesters in Tiananmen Square were declared enemies of the country and the army is now allowed to use force. Each soldier is armed with an AK-47 with a bayonet to push people back. So Alex and his dad continues to record and attempt to report back but Alex found another channel (channel 5) on his walkie talkie of people narrating and updating the current situation.

In the story Forbidden City, student demonstrators fill up the square. They demand that the government stop the corruption through hunger strikes and blockades. The government first responds by sending in the fake PLA. Soon after, they try invading the square using heavy armed military personnel. This attempt resulted in a fail so they retried with one last effort. They sent the armed personnel with bayonets and tear gas to enter the square. Personally, I have not taken any extreme measures.

In today’s forbidden city read aloud we read about the protests in Tiananmen Square. They are at Tiananmen Square because they were protesting their rights. Everyday more people are coming to Tiananmen Square to protest. They were protesting about the freedom of speech, and to stop giving out false information. Some University students were refusing to eat or drink untill they get what they wanted. The government respond by throwing tear gas at the students and the soldiers were a armed with AK 47s.
I have never taken any extreme measures before.

In Tiananmen Square, all the students and the other protesters and they were there because, they wanted had some demands and a freedom speech. The news the government was giving was all fake and corruption. The students and protesters to apologize were on a hunger strike and they would not drink or eat anything until the government would not talk to them. The protesters and some students built a tent and stayed in Tiananmen Square day by day. Also day by day there were more people, more students, more protesters. The government still did not do anything except for send soldiers and send the protesters and students home. Some of the protesters won't even agree to leave so the military threatened them to shoot the gun at them, and the military also arrested some of the protesters and students. I have never taken extreme measures, I don't really think I need to or have to in any situation.

In today the story is about the there are lots of University students and protesters. They were there because they wanted to have some demands and freedom of speech. So, they built some tents to live outside Tiananmen Square and they would not eat, drink until the government have a conversation with them. They stay there every day and a lot of reporters ask them why they did that? The news of the government was giving the fake news and corruptions on the newspaper. After day after day, outside Tiananmen Square became more people protest against the government. But, the government didn't do anything or respond to anything. They only expect that soldiers will send all the people back home. Lastly, the military shoots the gum at them and tries to scare them to go home. It's only some of the people who went home and some were arrested by the military. I have never taken extreme measures, I don't think I will have this kind of situation entire for my life.

There are student demonstrators all about in Tianmen square, gathering in large crowds around the square. They are in the square because they are protesting for more democracy and the end of corruption in the Chinese government. An extreme measure they have taken is a hunger strike. Thousands of students starved themselves to show that they aren't giving up and are willing to starve themselves to get what they want. The government is responding by trying to break through the barricade the students have set up at the borders of Tianmen Square. Each day they are trying harder and harder to break through. At this point, they have started using tear gas and actual rifles with bayonets on them.

In Tiananmen Square, there are student demonstrations demanding freedom and democracy. The streets are crowded with millions of people essentially looking like a carpet of people. Many students started going on a hunger strike, refusing to eat to end corruption in the Chinese Government. The Chinese government is desperately trying to get students to stop because Mikhail Gorbachev was visiting and they didn't want to have a bad reputation. Armies have tried many times to push them back but these students have balls of steel and they refuse. Armies are tempted to use rifles and shoot among the crowd.

In the book, there are a bunch of students gathered at Tianmen Square everyday in order protest for democracy. The students at the square have gone so far as to stop eating until they government responds. But, the government does not want this to happen, and have said that protesting could get you arrested or even killed. The military has tried to go to the square many times but so far, they have failed every time because of people blocking their path. But every time they come back, and every time they get more and more stronger.

In the story "Forbidden City", there was a large-scale protest at Tiananmen Square, which shocked the whole world.

In Tiananmen Square, among the protesters were mainly university students. They were here to protest against corruption amongst government officials, as well as for freedom of speech and democracy. The students stayed at the square, protesting without violence. In response, the prime minister went to negotiate with the representatives of the protesters. However, neither side was willing to give in, so there weren’t any agreements reached. Later, the unarmed PLA tried to get to Tiananmen Square to watch the protesters, but was blocked by a wave of citizens, and was forced to leave. Afterwards, Beijing was put under martial law, and two attempts were made to send an armed PLA into Beijing. Both were unsuccessful, even though the 2nd army was stronger than the first armed one. The sea of people who encountered every incoming army blocked the streets and stopped the army vehicles with their bodies and kept the armies out of Tiananmen Square. Meanwhile, at Tiananmen Square, University students were going on a hunger strike, as an extreme measure to achieve their goal.

I have taken an “extreme measure”, during my trip to Japan 2 years ago. It was the last day we stayed in Japan, and I really wanted to go to the Disney Sea amusement park. Unfortunately, I got a fever and felt awfully bad. However, I took an Advil pill to go to the park. I played until I felt exhausted and went back to the hotel. While being sick, going to the park instead of staying at the hotel could be harmful to my health, but I took an extreme measure for what I really wanted.

Forbidden city
Student demonstrators are in Tiananmen Square because they are protesting for democracy and against corruption in the Chinese Government. The student demonstrators have starved themselves, and other citizens helped by flooding the streets to not allow the military into the square. It is the law to not protest against the government, and the punishment can be death, yet they still protest for what they believe. The government is responding by gradually increasing force and their military.
I have not taken an extreme measure to get what I want or to stand up for what I believed in because nothing that eventful has happened in my life yet.

In Tiananmen Square students are protesting for democracy. The government ignored them, so they went on a hunger strike. After that, the whole province/country was under martial law. The police came, then the army, and slowly they brought in weapons.

Understudies and different dissenters involved Tiananmen Square since they needed the public authority to end debasement and requested changes to accomplish majority rules system, opportunity of the press, and the right to speak freely of discourse. The understudy protestors went on hunger strikes, declining to eat or drink until the public authority consented to talk with them. As the dissent went on, more individuals joined the dissidents in Tiananmen Square, and pressure started to develop. The public authority reacted by placing Beijing under military law and sent in troops to Beijing. As the dissent heightened, the military began capturing the nonconformists and took steps to shoot any individual who went against the public authority.

By and by, I have not yet taken any drastic actions to support what I put stock in. Be that as it may, I would take part in a dissent if anybody's opportunity or basic liberties are compromised.
