Matter is anything that has weight and takes up space. Volume is the first state of matter. Volume is the amount of space taken up by something. The second state of matter is height. height is the distance of an object from its bottom to its top. The last state of matter is weight. Weight is the measure of how heavy an object is. All matter on Earth exists in the form of a solid, liquid, or gas. For a solid all the particles are squished together so you can't stick your hand through a solid. For a liquid the particles are less stuck together so you can stick your hand in water, but you can feel it. For a gas there is lots of space in between gas particles, so not only you can put your hand through it, but you also can’t even feel it. If everything doesn't matter, no one cares about it. The joke is everything (has) matter (in it).

Matter has weight and taken up space. Matter is made out of small particles are called atoms and molecules. The three main states of matter are solid, liquid, and gas. The particles in solid are attracted but very close to eachother when they're in a solid but it doesn't move it will stay in the same area. For liquid the particles are very far apart eachother since they don't attracted together as much since they're moving a lot and move freely without touching. Lastly for gas the particles have very very little attracttion since they barley touch because they're far apart but it's alwasy moving non-stop and if they do collide with each other they'll just bounce off. The joke above means everything has matter in it.

What is matter? Give three examples
Matter is anything that takes up space and has mass. For example; water, ice and water vapour.
What is matter made of?
Matter is made of particles.
What are the three main states of matter?
The three main states of matter are liquid, solid and gas.
How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the main states of matter?
Solid particle spacing is very dense, and that is why it's hard to move through it. Liquid particles aren't as closely packed, and that is why it`s not a challenge to move through it. Gas has particles so far apart from each other you can move through it easily.
Explain the double meaning (joke above) that makes this joke funny!
I don't get it

1. What is matter? Give three examples.
Matter is any object that has weight (mass) and that takes space (volume). Everything is made of matter, such as an apple, a cat, and a person.

2. What is matter made up of?
Matter is made of particles, which are made up of atoms, which are made up of neutrons, electrons, and protons.

3. What are the three main states of matter?
The three main states of matter are liquids, solids, and gases.

4. How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the the main states of matter?
The main states of matter physically act differently because of the spacing between the particles/atoms. In a solid, they are packed together very tightly. In a liquid, the atoms/particles are close, and in a gas, they move everywhere and are separated.

5. Explain the double meaning (joke above) that makes this joke funny!
Particles are made up of atoms, and because of this, everything is made of atoms. 'Atoms make up everything' can also be interpreted as a personification, meaning that they make up lies and cannot be trusted. So, atoms cannot be trusted because they make up everything.

Matter is something that has weight and takes up space. Three things that can be matter are your house, your device, and even you yourself. Matter is made out of particles. Particles are tiny balls attached to each other really closely that you cannot see them. The three main states of matter are solid, liquid, and gas. The particles in a solid is really compacted together, so there isn't much space more it to move. Whereas the liquid particles are loosened, so there are a lot of space of things to move in it. The particles in gas have a lot of space for things to move around in, because the particles basically don't even touch each other. The joke in the diagram means that atoms can't be trusted since matter is made out of atoms, and matter is everything. So the atoms make up everything.

What is matter? Matter is anything that has weight and space, like water, a human body, or even air. Made up with microscopic building blocks known as particles, there are three main states of matter: gas, solid, and liquid. The difference between these three states of matter is the spacing of the particles. A solid figure is where the particles are so compact that the object is firm in shape, while a liquid's particles is fairly spaced apart so that there is no firm shape but has weight. Finally, gas is where the particles are free to move, so it therefore has no fixed shape or fixed weight.

The joke "Never trust an atom.. it always makes up everything" is a play on words. It can be interpreted that it takes up space, and everything is composed of particles, but it can always also mean that it always lies and fools one.

What is matter? Give three examples.
Matter is something that can take up weight and space. Such as, water, air, and ice.

What is matter made up of?
Matter is made up of miniscule things called particles.

What are the 3 main states of matter?
The main three stages of matter are liquid, solid, and gas.

How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the the main states of matter?
Spacing of atoms and particles in different states are the following: In a solid, particles are packed very tightly, leaving little space in between them. In a liquid, the particles are more loosely spread so they can take different forms. And lastly, a gas has a very loose set of particles.

Explain the double meaning (joke above) that makes this joke funny!
The joke is: "Never trust an atom, they make up everything" is a double meaning because on one hand, atoms are things that create everything, but "they make up everything" can also mean that the atoms, in this case, lie.

The matter is made up of tiny particles called atoms and molecules.

What are the three main states of matter?
The main states of matter are liquid, solid, and gas.

How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the main states of matter?

The three main states would move differently because they have their own space to move between the particle spacing/atom. In liquid, the atom will be close to each other. In solid, they are packed together so they can't even move a lot. Lastly gas, they are easy to move around because they stay separately from others.

Explain the double meaning (joke above) that makes this joke funny.

I don't know this one.

What is matter?
Matter is something that has weight
What is Matter made of?
Matter is made of partials .
There are three forms of Matter liquid, solid, gas
When there is no space between the partials it becomes solid, and if the partials have space it forms liquid

1. What is matter? Give three examples.
Anything that has taken space or weight is matter. For instance; water, air, strawberries are made of matter.
2. What is matter made up of?
Matter is made of particles.
3. What are the 3 main states of matter?
Three main states of matter are solid, liquid and gas.
4. How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the the main states of matter?
Solid particles are dense and are packed together so tight that you can't go through it. Liquid on the other hand is a bit less dense so you can go a little bit through. Gas particles are free to move wherever they like.
5.Explain the double meaning (joke above) that makes this joke funny!
"Never trust an atom, it always makes up everything" explains that everything is made of atom and it can't be trusted.

1. What is matter? Give three examples.
- Matter is something that has a weight and takes up space. Ex: air, water, pineapple.

2.What is matter made up of?
- Matter is made up of small particles that are crammed together at different densities.

3.What are the 3 main states of matter?
- The three main states of matter include solid, liquid and gas.

4.How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the the main
states of matter?
- The density of solids are very high so they cannot move. Liquids on the other hand, are packed tightly but with a bit of space so that they can move at will but still hold a shape. Gases are very loosely packed so that they can move into any shape or size.

5.Explain the double meaning (joke above) that makes this joke funny!
- "Never trust an atom, it always makes up everything" has two meanings. The first definition is that everything is made up from atoms. The other meaning is that atoms make up lies and do not tell the truth.

What is matter? Give three examples.
Matter is anything that takes weight and takes up space, like water, food and my computer.

What is matter made up of?
Matter is made out of little building blocks called partials

What are the 3 main states of matter?
The three main types of states of matter is liquid, solid and gas

How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the the main states of matter?
When the gas is filled up there is lots of space for the atoms to bounce around.

1. Soccer ball
2. iPads
3. Book

What is matter made up of?
Matter is made up of particle.

What are the 3 main states of matter?
The 3 main states of matter are liquid, gas and solid

How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the the main states of matter?
Solid particles are dense and packed tightly so no air can go through. Liquid is a bit less dense so you can go through. Gas is very lose so it can bounce around and for different shapes.

Explain the double meaning (joke above) that makes this joke funny!
"Never trust atom, it makes up everything" means that atoms create everything and don't trust it.

What is matter? Give three examples.
Air, baseball, water.
What is matter made up of?
Matter is made up of many microscopic atoms.
Matter is made of small atoms that you cant see with your plane eye.
What are the 3 main states of matter?
The 3 main states of matter are, liquid, solid, and gas,
How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the the main states of matter?
The particles are spaced out, the more compact they are, the more dense, and if the atoms are spaced out, it is less dense and more like a liquid or gas.

Explain the double meaning (joke above) that makes this joke funny!
Never trust an atom, it makes up everything, this joke is really funny since atoms make everything, from a TV to a soccer ball. Atoms are how things are shaped, feel, and how they look. So they make up everything.

What is matter?
Matter is something that takes up space and has weight to it. Some examples are desks, bed and even air.

What is matter made up of?
Matter is made up of particles that flow around or are very dense.

What are the 3 main states of matter?
The 3 main states are liquid, solid and gas.

How is the particle spacing/atom spacing different in the the main states of matter?
If the particles are dense and packed tightly, it's a solid. However, liquids have a little more space. Gasses are not as packed and particles flow around.

Explain the double meaning (joke above) that makes this joke funny!
"Never trust an atom, it always makes up everything" is saying everything is made up of atoms and also atoms lie.

Matter is made up of many particles.
The three main states of matter are liquid, solid and gas.
In the state of solid the space between the particles will be tight together, the space between particles in liquid is less tighter than the space in solid and the base between particles of gas has a lot of spaces from each other.
I don't get the joke. 😓
