School is very important, and most people don't like school, when in reality, you would die without school. This is why I would like to explain 2 facts about Churchill.

Firstly, Churchill is a school owned by the vsb, which has 107 schools, and 2 adult education centers according to vsb.bc.ca.

Secondly, Churchill has about 2000 students according to wikipedia.org.

So in conclusion, Churchill is really important because if it didn't exist it would leave 2000 students without education.

Visiting Churchill was a blast! I had a lot of fun there with my friends. A lot of the people were really nice and it's a cool school in general. One thing that is important about Churchill is that we can continue our education. Without education, we wouldn't be able to get good jobs and withouts jobs, no money. And no money means no food then no food mean you might die. Another important thing about Churchill is that they have club day. You can develop new interests and meet new people.
That is some of what we learned today as well as the moral, the garden, different classes and we also got some free food.

(sympathy for you guys who didn't go 🙃) OPEN FOR FEEDBACK

Today when we went to chirchill it was awsome. We got to see almost every class. After the vice principle showed us a slide and told us about more stuff. There was also a dance. I had a lot of fun when visiting chirchill

When we went to Churchill Secondary School today, I had a good time. We went on a tour and got split into smaller groups and toured around the school! One of my favourites places, was the science room! I got told by the tour guides that when we got into 8th grade, we would need to dissect a sheep eye, which was interesting news. Another thing I learned today was that there were 3 floors in Churchill! I thought there were only 2, and was surprised to see there was actually 3.

Today we went to Churchill for a quick tour of the school. When the huge door opened, we were greeted by a ginormous room with the highest roof you’ve ever seen. Soon after, our class filed in to the cafeteria were there were hundreds of students from different schools. We were then taken to our designated groups by our last names. Throughout the tour, I mainly explored with Shawn and Jeremy. After the tour, we got some free snacks provided by the school and went in to the auditorium to witness a dance. All the dancers did perfectly and they were all in perfect accuracy. Soon after the vice principal did a presentation about Churchill. Two things I learned are that it was the first time the school had a female principal in all of its years and that the teachers actually do remember your names even though the myths say they forget your names. While I wasn’t too sure wether or not the fact was true, the vice principal was extremely confident that it was a fact so I believed her. Then we headed back to Laurier to go home. I learned a lot about Churchill and had a lot of fun with my friends. Not to mention that I also some siblings of other classmates.

I think one thing I could’ve improved on is to add another point that I learned in high school such as Churchill has many different clubs or that all Churchill counselors are nice according to the vice principal.

Visiting Churchill was so much fun. It was a huge school and in general, Churchill was amazing. Yesterday, we learned a lot of things. There were a lot of people in the school since this school have over 2000 people. One thing that I learned was even through there were a lot of students in the school, teachers will never forget our names according to our future principle. The other thing that learned in Churchill was there were a lot of activities for students and I am really looking forward to join a lot of activities and events!

Transitioning into high school can be a big change. A few things I learned about high school on the Churchill tour are how to navigate throughout the building in order to find my classes, and how everyone can have an opportunity to make new friends by joining clubs. For example, if your classroom number is A103 that means that your class is in the A wing of the school, first floor, and room 03. It’s important to know where your classes are in order to get to class on time. I think that the Churchill tour helped familiarize me with the environment of the school, and I’m very excited for high school to begin.

Today at Churchill we got a tour and we learned where everything is. i think that he 2 most important things are where the counsel is because that is where you get help from the staff there. so if you need help with your work. i think the second most important thing is the gym because i am going to join a lot of sports.

Today at Churchill we got a tour and we got to see where some of the places in the school are so for next year we are all set for example now I know where the south field and the main gym is and the science room. I think the most important things have to be council because that’s where you can get help from people and the gym because that’s where all the sports games will be played.

Going to Churchill yesterday was really fun. It was cool because Laurier is quite small so there is lots to see and new things that we don’t have here. I like how they have so many clubs for everyone and I can’t wait to join some of them. It is cool to see where I will be for the next few years and I am excited to go.
