Today, students learned more about measurement and dove deep into chemistry by starting their pH lab on acids and bases. They are using pH indicator solution made from red cabbage to find the relative strength of different acids and bases. We also started our novel approach book clubs for their second novels and there were many rich conversations going on around the big idea of their novels. The students are entering the ownership phase and the learning that is happening is a beautiful thing! |
