Today, students learned how to use a trowel, putty knife, and thinset/mastic to stick their tiles onto their wooden mirror frames. If we have time tomorrow, we will learn about ratios in math and use this when we mix our grout for our mosaic mirrors. SUCCESS CRITERIA:
2.) When describing the step by step process, you must use transition words to show what
happens first, second, etc. Use this list of time/chronology transition words to help you out.
3.) List one thing that you found challenging about applying the thinset/mastic to the wooden
frame.
4.) Give one student a suggestion on how to improve their paragraph with their use of the transition
words in this link.
5.) Edit/revise based on the feedback you receive or a self-assessment.
