After starting off the day with music students had and engaging writing lesson with Miss Liz. They practised a strategy to engage readers. They worked on opening a piece of writing with an interesting or intriguing question. After seeing some examples, and a little practice students applied the strategy to their own writing. In math, we finally launched our fractions and decimals unit. The afternoon was spent on ecosystems inquiry and the introduction to our next French project. A cooking show! Students will learn many French phrases in a fun and engaging way! |
