Try not to tell exactly where the mistake is. Make them do the work.
Be specific in your stars. say exactly what you liked with an example.
Focus on the meanings not just punctuation and grammar.

How to give good, effective feedback!

1.Try not to tell exactly where the work is. Make them do the work.
-For example, you could tell them how in the sentence where they used dub, you didn't understand the real meaning of it
-You can also give them feedback on spelling or the grammar but, meaning is preferred

2.Be specific in your stars. Say exactly what you liked with an example.
-For example, you could say how you liked their sentence used for extravagant because it was unique, had good vocabulary and creative

3. Focus on the meanings not just punctuation and grammar.
-For example, have a good mix on grammar and spelling improvements and actual definitions of the sentences

Don’t tell them where the mistake is exactly, just give them a hint.
Make sure that you always include 2 stars and a wish.
If they not to give just punctuation tips. More about the word meaning
