Being a good student isn’t easy. Especially when you don’t know what to do. Well, being a student of integrity and taking ownership of your learning would be at the top of the list, for sure.

Being students of integrity means that you are truthful, know the right thing to do all the time and do it, even if there is no reward for doing it. For example, you’re chewing gum on the bus when it starts to taste boring and you want to throw it away, but you don’t have any tissues. A bad student would just stick it under the chair, but a student of integrity would continue chewing it until they have a tissue or borrow one from somebody.

Taking ownership of your learning includes knowing what to do when a problem comes. For example, if you notice that your worksheet isn’t hole-punched, you just go hole-punch it yourself, instead of going to the teacher or asking very loudly why yours isn’t hole-punched. Another example would be if you have a class test, and you finish it quickly. Don’t ask your teacher what to do! Instead, do whatever homework or work you haven’t done, or read or draw!

There are a lot more things that you can do to be students of integrity and take ownership of things. But now that you get the general idea, you can do just about anything!

For your first sentence in the intro, I think you were trying to say "Well, being a student of integrity and taking ownership of your learning would put you at the top of the list, for sure." Instead of "Well, being a student of integrity and taking ownership of your learning would be at the top of the list, for sure."

And for the first sentence of the integrity paragraph, does "student" need a "s".

What's ownership and kids of integrity you ask? Let's find out!

Firstly, let's learn about ownership. Ownership means being responsible and can make decisions for ourselves. I take ownership by doing my homework without being asked to. Another thing I do to take ownership is that I make sure I have all the things I need the night before a school day.

Now you know what ownership is. It's time to learn about kids of integrity. First, let's break the word up. Kids means children. Integrity means you stuck with what you believe is right. Then kids of integrity is a group of kids that stucks with what they think is right no matter what. To be honest, I'm not a very strong kid of integrity but I do believe that littering is bad so I try not to do it.

Now you know what ownership and kid of integrity means, are you going to have ownership and integrity?

1) you put "stuck instead of (maybe) "stick" (paragraph 2)

2) could work on the intro

Ownership and kids of integrity! Two big words with big meanings. What is ownership and kids of integrity you may ask. Let me show you the meanings of these two big words.

Then kids of integrity is a group of kids that sticks with what they think is right no matter what. To be honest, I'm not a very strong kid of integrity but I do believe that littering is bad so I try not to do it.

Now you know what ownership and kid of integrity means, are you going to have ownership and integrity?

Knowing and doing what right can be difficult sometimes, even as an adult but if you keep you moral compass straight, you will become a person of integrity and being able to take ownership of your life.

Being a person of integrity means to do what right, even if it's hard or there's no one to recognize you for your action, for example. If you dropped a gum wrapper. You could leave it, or pick it up, a student of integrity would pick it up, knowing that if they left it there, it would hurt the environment and also that if they left it there, no one would know. Another example is that you're doing a test, and you notice the answer sheet sticking out by the teacher's desk. The teacher is looking away, do you look at the answer, or not? If you had integrity you wouldn't look at it even though you might fail your test. In this case, you did the right thing even if it was the hard thing.

Ownership means to take action for yourself instead of asking when a problem (no matter how big or small) occurs. An example of this would be if you finished all your current work, you would do an quiet activity instead of bugging others. In this case you took ownership of yourself by deciding what to do. Another example is that you notice your pencil is dull so you go to sharpen it. Instead of lying there, not knowing what to do, you took ownership by sharping your pencil

You should always strive to be a good human being and now that you know what integrity and ownership is, you can now be an independent person who will do good.

This is a great paragraph!
1- Make sure you check your grammar ex. Knowing and doing what IS right.
2- I noticed that you missed just a few commas

Sadly, this week Mr. Fisher will not be will us, so we have a substitute. Mr. Fisher gave us the challenge to have integrity and ownership.

By having integrity, you will choose to do the right thing even though the wrong thing is easier and right in front of you. For example, when you try to throw something in the trash, but you miss it, you might want to walk away but if you have integrity, you will pick it up. Integrity is a great thing to have in your life to make good impressions.

Ownership. Ownership means to make your own decisions. Maybe you ripped your paper, so you take ownership and tape the back of it to solve your own problems. Ownership helps you grow in life by making smart and reasonable decisions on your own. You must be responsible for your learning and not leave it to other people to know what you’re supposed to know.

These skills are very important for you to know because they help you do what you know is right and be responsible for your own jobs.

@Aryah!
Wow your writing is awesome.
#1 I think you shouldn't put "Ownership. Ownership means..." but if you don't want to I think that would be ok too.
#2 I also think you should put "Integrity is a wonderful thing to …"
instead of "Integrity is a great thing to" to show how much you (maybe) feel about.
But again, if you don't want to I think that would be ok too.
