This morning we carried on with our first PE unit on fitness. We reviewed the SAID principle and almost finished up collecting data for our first fitness test. Next week students will complete the cardiovascular endurance component of the fitness test by completing a 1 mile run and the beep test. The data will be used for students to set a personal fitness goal. They will then use the FITT principle to create a training program that will help them reach their fitness goal. |
