"Everyone is smart in different ways. But if you judge a fish on its abiity to climb a tree, it'll spend its whole life thinking it's stupid." Fish In a Tree is a book about a dyslexic girl called Ally Nickerson. Ally is continuously getting in trouble for not focusing in class and being bullied by the "cool" girls called Jessica and Shay, along with a number of girls always surrounding them, known as Jessica and Shay's followers. Even though they are mean to her, Ally is secretly jealous that she does not get to be in the "cool" group and that she is always judged badly, unlike Shay, Jessica, and the others. Struggling in school subjects that require reading and writing and getting bullied at the same time, Ally just wants to be normal and fit in. However, Ally meets her new teacher, Mr. Daniels, and her life changes forever. Instead of always scolding and sending Ally to the principal's office, Mr. Daniels is a patient teacher who recognizes learning differences. He continuously encourages Ally in a variety of ways to learn reading and writing, like giving her many visuals to learn with. In addition, Mr. Daniels also introduces Ally to a new board game---chess. Ally ends up loving chess and excelling in it because of its use of planning in her head and capturing chess pieces. Slowly progressing in her learning, Ally is still skeptical in learning to read and write, but her self-esteem is slowly building up...

Fish is a tree is a story about a student that haves trouble at school. Her name is Ally Nickerson, she has a problem called dyslexia, it's a problem where you have trouble reading. People who have dyslexia may have a hard time decoding sounds and relations with words. Ally has a really nice teacher, his name is Mr. Daniels, he understands about Ally's learning disorder, and knows how to help her. Ally has two friends, Keisha and Albert, they always help her with trouble, but they just don't know that she has dyslexia. Ally has a caring brother, Travis, he always brings Ally to her positive side. Ally had a few enemies, Shay and Jessica were the top. They both have many more girls who follow her actions, and they always pick on and bully Ally and her friends. One day, Mr. Daniels asked Ally to learn chess, he thought it can help her learn because it is similar to how her mind works. Ally turns out to actually enjoy chess and is really good. Ally is slowly learning more, and soon will be "normal" like the other kids. These are the main points so far, but there are more to the book.

Fish in a tree is about a kid named Ally. Ally has troubles in school, especially in reading and writing which gets her sent to the principal's office a lot, but also shines in art. She is constantly teased by Shay, a bully who continuously tries to humiliate Ally whether it be at a party or in class when all Ally wants is to fit in and be "cool" and "normal". But when a new teacher named Mr. Daniels comes to replace Ally's old one, Ally finds that she excels at visualizing things through a game Mr. Daniels played with a class. Mr. Daniels has different approach to All's inability to read, instead of sending her to the office, he finds that Ally has dyslexia and helps her to read words and write, but he also teaches Ally chess and finds that she does exceptionally well at it. Ally has two friends named Keisha and Albert. Keisha is very confident and stands up for people when Shay picks on them. She hopes that one day she can sell her unique baked goods in a shop. Albert is a smart and analytical person who loves science and math, but he is also frequently bullied by Shay and is not the most social person. I am looking forward to learning more about Ally and her friends.

Once, Mr.Daniels told Ally to try chess and a few days later Ally learned how to play and is really interested in it. These are the main points by now.

Fish In a Tree is a novel about a girl called Ally that had trouble reading and writing. Ally was a really nice girl however, she got bully a lot because she has a problem called dyslexia. She got bully by Shay and Jessica the most which was also the top enemies that Ally had. Luckily, she has a really nice teacher called Mr. Dainels. Mr. Dainels help her a lot and always support her learning along with her two other friends, Keisha and Albert. Mr. Daniels was being really nice to Ally and use different method to teach her how to wirte and read. Keisha and Albert helped Ally a lot but they don't know the issue that Ally had. Instead of reading and writing, Ally loves art and to imagine things in her imaginary world. Mr. Daniels also taught Ally chess and figured out that she was really good at it and she had potential in chess. Ally's learning is slowly improving and she will soon be the same as others.

Sixth-grade Ally Nickerson has trouble reading and writing. She is a talented artist and she possesses strong mathematical skills as well as spatial abilities as a result of her creativity and imagination. Because of her inability to read, she struggles in school and misbehaves so her peers and teacher will not find out. Her teacher then takes a maternity leave and she meets her new teacher, Mr. Daniels. He becomes acquainted with Ally and opens her up to the possibility that she may be dyslexic. Thereafter, he encourages her to read and write. He teaches Ally to recognize letters and how they are written by using her other senses as well as her imagination. He also teaches her to play chess, and Ally becomes proficient in chess very quickly as she can use her imagination to visualize the chess pieces and their moves. Along the way, she befriends Albert and Keisha. Albert is smart and logical, while Keisha is confident, and Ally admires them both. Together they try to fit in and they stand up to Shay and Jessica, who makes fun of Ally for not being able to read. This is the main plot of the story so far, so read more to find out!

Fish in a tree is about a little girl named Ally Nickerson. Ally has trouble with reading. Ally also gets bullied by two girls named Jessica and Shay. Ally is a little bit jealous because she does not get to be in the "cool" group of people. Since people judge her a lot. One more thing is that Ally wants to be normal. I think she really wants to be normal because, Mr. Daniel was teaching Ally something and Ally asked him will I be able to read? Will I be normal? That's why I think Ally for sure wants to be normal. Mr. Daniel is also very kind to Ally no matter what. Ally's life also changed when she met Mr. Daniel. Mr. Daniel also encourages Ally in variety of ways to learn, read and write. Mr. Daniel also shows Ally a new Chess game which Ally had never seen but she really loves playing it! Ally is also improving in her reading and writing and she is also building up a little bit of confidence!

The Fish In a Tree book is about a girl named Ally. Ally is a girl with dyslexia which means she has trouble with doing stuff such as reading an writing. And because of that, Ally sometimes gets bullied by some of her classmates. She wishes that she would be normal and like the other kids who are in her class. But despite that, Ally has a lot of potential and will definitely be able to improve a lot and is already very good at things like math and drawing. She also has 2 friends named Albert and Keisha. There is also a new teacher in Ally's class named Mr. Daniels who is helping Ally with her reading and writing as well as her confidence. I think that this book will be very good and I am looking forward to completing it in the future.

fish in a tree is about this girl Alley Nickerson who has difficulties learning how to read and write due to her dyslexia. She gets bullied and made fun of her disability by her classmates and her teacher Mr. Daniels is helping Alley learn to read and write.

Alley is talented in drawing, visualizing and solving math problems and has 2 friends Albert and Keisha that are supportive to Alley and is helping her learn slowly to become one of the "normal kids". The book title is "Fish in a tree" because "if you judge a fish by its abilities to climb a tree it will spend its whole life thinking it's stupid".

Fish in a tree is about a girl named Ally Nickerson who is dyslexic. She has trouble reading and writing so she gets bullied for her disability, but hey, just one step closer to being a demigod!
Ally is learning that being different doesn't mean you're weird, or abnormal, but unique. Her friends and teacher support her and Ally learnes that she is actually quite talented, and smart. If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it would spend the rest of it`s life thinking it's stupid, and that is why the book is named fish in a tree. Ally is a fish being judged by not knowing how to read and write, so she thinks she is stupid. Every chapter is a moment where she begins to stand up for herself and develop her full character. Her two friends Keisha (I don't know how to spell it) and Albert, become close friends and encourage Ally all the way. Her teacher, Mr. Daniel's, funny, kind, and un-judgemental, is also helping Ally to read and write. Soon, Ally will learn to be confident with herself and be able to live her life just like everyone else.

The book "Fish In a Tree" is a book read to division 2 every day at lunch by Mr. Sol. It is a story about a girl named Ally Nickerson who had dyslexia, which is the disability of reading and writing correctly. The book title has a hidden meaning in the middle of the book, where Mr. Daniels, Ally's teacher, told ally: "A famous person once said:

"Everyone is smart in different ways. But if you judge a fish on its ability to climb a tree, it'll spend its whole life thinking it's stupid."

At the start of the story, Ally makes many mistakes and got blamed for many mistakes. Throughout the story, she tries to fit back into the class and tries to be normal. But what she doesn't realize is, she is better than normal. She is special. Ally has two main best friends. Keira and Albert. Keira is an excellent baker and cooks messages on the inside of cupcakes. Albert is a master genius at science and will one day change the world. The antagonist in this story is Shey. Shey is the typical popular student in the school, and Jessica does whatever she does. Both of them bully Ally a lot, with mean words, insults, and hidden meaning sentences.

(this kind of people are in every school, but they can all change if they all wanted to)

Mr. Daniels helps Ally a lot and is a charming teacher. He will play a significant role in Ally's success in the future of the story.

That is all I know about the story so far, and I'm excited about listening to this at lunchtime!

Ally Nickerson, a 6th grader having dyslexia has trouble reading and writing. She's always afraid of asking for help because of the embarrassment she would get and other students such as Shay teasing her. For math and art, she exceeds the expectations. She finds herself in the principal's office quite often because of misbehavior caused by having no confidence in yourself at writing and reading. She doesn't pay attention a lot to these classes and creates distractions which lead her to getting in trouble. As soon as her new teacher Mr. Daniels came along, Ally starts to build confidence. Mr. Daniels knew sending her to the office won't affect anything. He decided to teach her chess and Ally started getting really good at it. Her creative mind makes her special from other people. The title of the book fish in a tree is representing Ally. Everyone is special in different ways. The fish is really good at swimming but if you put it on a tree, it wouldn't be able to climb it because that's not what the fish is good at. Ally is really good at art and creative thinking and that's what differs from other peers in her class. Although she does not know how to read, that doesn't mean she is stupid or anything. Reading and writing doesn't define your anything, it's the things that other people can't do that's special.

Everyone is smart no one is dumb if they can't read or write it doesn't mean we can judge them just because they have disability and no one is normal. All around the world we act completely different it doesn't matter how we act as long we can work together everyone will ge through it together, but we can help them everyone and every day so one day it's possible for them to do next time. Nothing is not impossible it's always possible because we can try to do it.

"Everybody is a genius. But If you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid" -Albert Einstein. In Lynda Mullaly Hunt's novel, Fish in a Tree, Ally Nickerson, the story’s protagonist, is bullied because she has dyslexia. She has moved from many different schools since she is different. She has a father, a mother, and a big brother. Her father is a soldier currently deployed while her mother stays at home. His big brother’s name is Travis. He works at a garage with a mean boss who does not let him get creative. At her school, she has two friends called Albert and Kiesha who both support her. She also has a very nice teacher named Mr. Daniels. He is a different type of teacher who wants to teach Ally how to read. He teaches her chess after school to eliminate her homework.

To be continued...
