Students wrapped up a successful mini inquiry today. They completed their self-assessments and reviewed their work. This is an integral part of the learning process. Students reviewed learning intentions and articulated their 'learning' after carefully reflecting on it. Parents, what research tells us is that if students can understand how they came to understand what they learned, it is more meaningful to them and they tend to take more ownership of it. Don't forget to bring your snacks to school tomorrow! |
