Students these days are afforded many learning opportunities because of the advent of technology. Today, we continued learning from others by communicating with a Gr. 5 Class from Kanata, Ontario (near Ottawa) and Wellington, New Zealand! Mr. Hong and I were talking about it and would have loved to have had an opportunity to learn from others like this when we were in Gr. 7. Students not only followed criteria for self-regulation, but they also followed criteria they generated for learning and communicating with others. The amazing self-regulation was an improvement from Friday! It is amazing how one novel can bring so many students together from around the world! |
