to be honest i did nothing for the holidays but i got shoes for Christmas
though and i went to the Richmond mall for 4 times in 1 week but what i liked about the holidays was staying home to play games all day

I want to thank all of the division 2 students and their families for a great start to the new school year! Students and parents have been very active in the learning this year! Also, I want to thank all students and families for their generosity this Christmas! You did not have to give me anything, but your kindness is appreciated! I'm looking forward to the new year where the learning will continue to thrive with all of our division 2 students!

Seymour Ski School will be happening! We received approval from the district!
We will be doing some fundraising from now until the end of the school year to help reduce the cost of skiing and camping. Although we may not do much fundraising before we start skiing, you will see a reduction in our camping fees based on how much we are able to raise!

Today, we were lucky to have Ms. Gill and Ms. Rai join our class to continue our talking circle from about a week ago. It was a good opportunity for us to continue learning about inclusivity. We continued our talking circle after they left and students watched two short, but important and valuable videos. They watched 'TO THIS DAY' and 'TROLL' by Shane Koyczan. These are two poems with relevant messages for students today. Parents, please watch it with your child and discuss the content.

IMPORTANT:

Be sure to complete the SEYMOUR SKI SCHOOL SURVEY #2 with your parents.

Thanks to my old students for the wonderful Xmas sweater!
Today, students enjoyed some free time in the afternoon to have fun! It was 'FUN DAY' because students earned over 1000 SOAR tickets! They were supportive, outstanding, awesome, and respectful so often this term! All teachers planned out exciting learning activities in their classrooms. to be honest i did nothing for the holidays but i got shoes for Christmas
though and i went to the Richmond mall for 4 times in 1 week but what i liked about the holidays was staying home to play games all day

Today, students enjoyed their final ice skating field trip at Sunset Community centre. Many students became much more confident in their skating skills and abilities.
