Another amazing day with the students in Division 1. We started the day with a short work period where students were able to work on their powerful responses, and push their learning with the novel group members. After that we had a Math inquiry. Students worked to see if there was a pattern or connection to circumference and diameter by spliting into groups and each groups measuring 6 different and random sized circular objects. Oh Pi, it was really close to 3.14, maybe this is not just some random number. After recess we had a guest speaker come in to speak to the grade 6 & 7 classes about "Digital Citizenship and the Online World". In the afternoon we had another science block and some time for Social Studies project work. |
