Today at Laurier division 1 had another wonderful day of learning. We started off the day with our Chemistry evaluation in Science, and then managed a short 30 minute PE block. In PE the students ended the field hockey unit playing mini games. After recess, we had music and then a final review before our Measurement evaluation in Math tomorrow. The afternoon started with a special guest speaking to the class about diversity. There were sharing circles, activities and good discussions. As you can see in the picture, when at first we may seem so very different there is a good chance you can still find that you also have something in common. The day ended with an earthbites meal before another game of Stones. |
- today some of you received big red notes to remind you to wash and return your track jerseys. Ms. Boucher needs them back ASAP
- we still have students (Kheyria, Nicholas, and Taya) who have not yet submitted photos to [email protected], please do so ASAP, so you can be a part of the year end slide show.

- you have just spent the last few weeks learning some very basic field hockey skills. The video below builds on a few more of those basics to show you what it can look like at the international level.
- In a short paragraph share something you found challenging, something you enjoyed, and something you found interesting about learning to play field hockey, or from that video.
