Today we talked about how our brains learn. We talked about experiences, background knowledge, connections and ways we can help remember things. Everyone created an action and vocalization to go with their descriptor and name. We all practiced listening, saying and doing the actions with each others names. It was amazing how quickly we were able to start remembering each others names experiencing them is so many different ways! We also learned and practice a proper hand washing technique. Both teachers modeled and students modeled using paint! It was a very good visual for everyone. We wrapped up the day by starting our Plant Identification and First Nations Use Project! |
