We got into using an area model to show the multiplication of decimals today. This is a great way for students to show that they understand what is happening when they multiply decimals. In the afternoon, we spent some time reviewing the criteria for a research notebook and saw some examples of how to help organize research notebooks to show information and thinking and throughout the inquiry process. |
